Use any legacy Microsoft® Windows® application, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc, to create a file that you would like to send as a fax. Once you have finished creating your file, no matter what program it was created in, you can fax it using ipFax Printer. Just go to the "File" menu and select "Print" - in the list of printers, select "ipFax Printer" and click OK.

The second step is to fill out the information in the pop-up window. This information includes the recipient's fax number and name, your name, the subject of the fax, and a field to enter comments. The values entered here will be added to the optional automatically generated cover page. If you do not wish to have a cover page generated, just check the box labeled "My Document Includes a Cover Page".

Once you click the "Send Fax" button, you will notice that your fax will show up on the Outgoing Fax List on the ipFax Notifier. Using ipFax Notifier, you can monitor the status of your fax, as well as all of the other faxes that are queued up, and you can choose to cancel your fax if something is not right. You can also check out the received faxes and the outgoing fax history. With this powerful tool, you will be notified as soon as a fax arrives.
